Meaning of "Proudy"?

What exactly does this mean? When someone talks about proudy log, or calls someone proudy?

I’ve seen this term used a few times and I have no idea what it means.

Re: Meaning of “Proudy”?

proudy log ???

proudy = (maghroor)… calling someone proudy means ‘that person thinks of him/herself too much…thinks of himself/herself superior to others’

eg. a rich person who doesnot talk to poor people just because he has money will be termed as proudy.

its basically u have the access to something which others dont and then u just flaunt it that only u have it.

Re: Meaning of “Proudy”?

a person that’s proud = proudy

Re: Meaning of “Proudy”?

There’s a laxity in language and you’ll see this even in the usage of English in other cultures. I’ve heard the word, “proudy,” outside of GS…from an Indian guy…he was older/an uncle. My guess is that it’s more commonly used in desi countries…I think more so in India…as I haven’t really heard it in Pak. And I also think the term refers more to girls than guys. Kinda like a miss hoity-toity. Basically someone who’s stuck-up. I’m guessing you’re just kidding around with this question cuz it’s only a matter of adding an “ee” sound to a root word. Sorta like Ghostie…and then proudy. OMG, Ghostie’s a proudy. That’s gotta nice ring to it. Okay, I’ll stop. :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Meaning of “Proudy”?

log
inverse log

Re: Meaning of “Proudy”?

Re: Meaning of “Proudy”?

^ of course u didnt coz its not even a proper english word. Its just a word they came up with to refer to snobs /maghroor.
there are so many slang terms we use here that Pakistanis back home have no idea about. Give them a break guys.

HEY ABCD’S dont be proudy.difference between your language and ours is due to exposure you got to language of English people.so please dont be proudy

Re: Meaning of “Proudy”?

If proudy means “arrogant”, then yes, Ghostie be proudy :snooty:.

I was just curious as to why proudy came to be used when snobby is already there. I mean, why keep it simple right?

Me neither.
