I’m looking for ideas for meals that I can then take to work with me the next day.
So far I’ve thought of keema which can be mixed into pasta for a salad the next day.
What other dishes do you cook that taste even better the next day at lunchtime? We do have a microwave at work, so I am able to warm stuff up.
Also, for those of us not living in the desi-land, what is your diet like? Do you mainly rely on Pakistani/Indian food or do you mix it up? I’ve noticed my bestfriend has lunch at work (e.g. a sandwich) and she always has curry with rice/roti at home without fail. Whereas I rarely eat roti. Is it just me? I’m feeling very un-desi now, lol.

Keema is a good idea because it's versatile.

Re: Meals you can cook and use for lunch the next day and...
I get the burger patty and chapli kababs from K & N and make a burger for myself in the evening for my next day lunch .
You can also boil potatoes and add some red chilli pwd and salt according to ur taste in it and keep it in the firdge. Either u can make kebab of it and dip in egg and fry it ( can be used for burger ) or just make sandwiches of it ...they are yummy!

kabab sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, any kind of pasta including ravioli and lasagna, or salad. the worst thing u can do is take paki food into work, warm it up and have everyone else smell. ew
