ok so am here in college and there are loads of other new students. so am talking to someone and here’s our convo:
XX1: so where you from?
me: from africa:D
XX1: bt u look asian, then how come?
so i politely explained tht my origins are asian and so on…

then another XX2 raises the same question in exactly the same manner:smack:, and i once again very calmy explain tht just the way pakistanis/indians/blacks/latinos/bla bla are born and settled in uk/us and are still the same and have not yet changed to ‘gore log’, we peole from africa have not yet changed as well…
so then again am talking with someone else in mosque and i get asked the same question:mad:…i’ve been asked this question several times and it really ‘pieces’ me off:frusty:
so is it me who’s teh one over-reacting:rolleyes: or are these people really daft to ask such a question in a multi-ethnic city(esp. diverse as this one)?
