I am an American. Ethnically I am white with some(almost 1/2) Cherokee.

I can't seem to get the picture bigger than this without going over the 75K limit is there any advice out there? I just got the scanner so I am kind of new to it.

Kool, I'm about 1/4 Cherokee. My grandmother was 1/2 Cherokee.

well u have to decrease the dpi if u know where from… and then scan the picture

Save the picture as a JPEG (.jpg) file. There is normally an option somewhere in the save dialogue box to lower the quality of the jpeg. You need to get the quality down to about 60% or 70%.
