Salaam ..im back again hehee, my wedding is now finalized inShAllah in MD area this summer =)

I am now looking for photographers in the area..that anyone knows of
+
makeup parlours that do indian / pakistani bridal makeup :slight_smile:

Pls do give me suggestions of anyone you have heard of / used previously that offer good services/ rates

The big names I’ve heard are Sanober (http://www.sanober.com/) and Uzma Wali for makeup.

Uzma will give you a photo/video/makeup package. The best desi photographer I’ve seen here is Ayesha (http://www.photosbyayesha.com/). But there are a ton of great up and coming ones we just haven’t had experience with.

I just saw Uzma's work recently. She did the make up for my cousin's wedding events and the makeup and photography for a friend's events. The make up was nice.

Ayesha Hussein 240-481-7211 did the photography for my cousin.

I've seen Sanober's make up work in the past and thought the brides looked great!

Ayesha is amazing for photography. She covered my sister's wedding and did an outstanding job. Sanober did the make-up for my wedding as well as my sister's, and both the times, her work was outstanding.

Aww thanks for the replies :)
i called Uzma, her rates are pretty expensive for photography.. I'll call Ayesha today. Its only for a one day event - photography maybe video. We are trying to keep our budget low.

For salons, Im ok with the 200 price range. Has anyone heard of Appearances Salon & Spa - in Fairfax Va. THey are charging 200. I emailed her to ask for pics of her previous makeup hair..lets see. Do you guys know of anyone who has gone there..?

I think Ayesha is more expensive than Uzma (but do check, Ayesha's photos are supposed to be nicer). If you do the photo/video package with Uzma, she throws in the makeup for free.

Do check with Sanober too about makeup. Th brides I've seen looked nicer than on the website.
