Re: McGrath the one-day batsman ..

:rotfl:

A very funny analysis indeed

But all of this tells us, what a great team Austrailia has been during his career time. He barely got to bat in his career. And whenever he did, it was obvious that Aus were struggling, and mostly lost those matches.

It has been the height of professionalism of the whole team. :k: I salute the high standards this side has set in this game.

Re: McGrath the one-day batsman ..

quite a funny article
**
He has hit seven fours, at a rate of one every two years.

If McGrath bowled to himself, he'd never concede a run.

:D

**i wonder who is the worst batsman in ODI , McGrath or is it Walsh

Re: McGrath the one-day batsman ..

If McGrath bowled to himself, he'd never concede a run.

what does this exactly mean????

Re: McGrath the one-day batsman ..

hmm there are other performers with bat too, besides Sami.

Re: McGrath the one-day batsman ..

***''In the World Cup, he has played 28 games and made three runs, all in the same innings, against NZ at Port Elizabeth in 2003. **Shane Bond took six for 23, and Australia still won by 96 runs'' *:)

Re: McGrath the one-day batsman ..

I think Tim de Lisle means, ''McGrath does not concede many runs against the best batsmen in the world, so if in a hypothetical scenario he were ever to bowl to himself (the crappiest batman there is), he won' t concede a single run/many runs''

Re: McGrath the one-day batsman ..

Re: McGrath the one-day batsman ..

…he won’t concede many runs
