Mazrats of Aulias are the great source of our heritage and keeps us on the track of Love of Prophet (s.w).
I myself have seen many people getting cured at Hazrat Data Darbar Mazar and Shah Bhitai Mazar from my own eyes.
Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah!

If you allow me i would like to do a slight amendment …
**Teachings of Aulias are the great source of our heritage and keeps us on the track of Love of Prophet (s.w).
**
So do you think people getting cured is from these Aulia ? ![]()
In that case you must be following pre-muhammadan religion, where dieties like laat, munaat, Uzaa were capable of granting health, wealth, wisdom and harvest. According to Muhammad :saw: There is no god, But Allah. And all the attributes are fit for him only.
Re: "MAZARAT OF AULIA"
To reply back to your question:
We are not kissing the metal, we are kissing because we remeber our dear Prophet (s.w).
One of our majzoob (malang) from Data darbaar once gave a quran wrapped in a leather case to a Saudi Sheikh. Saudi sheikh kissed the leather case. Then my malang asked him why did you kiss the leather case, its made up of leather (animal skin). The Saudi crazy Sheikh replied back that I am not kissing the leather case, I am imagining the book given to Prophet (s.w) inside it.
The malang replied back to Saudi, then why do you stop us from kissing the metallic jaali of Rasool (s.w)'s grave? We are thinking about our dear Prophet burried inside.
The Saudi Sheikh had no reply because all these munafiqs do is lie lie and lie!!

Now what sort of analogy is that, I cant comprehend.
Anyways sticking to the topic can you please tell me who loved or which generation venerated Prophet sala Allaah alayhi wa sallaam.
I just wanna answer to the question above, please be objective.
Re: "MAZARAT OF AULIA"
The Saudi sheikh, assuming the story you told is true, was not kissing the leather case...the leather case has no value on its own. He was kissing the Quran, which is God's speech.
Comparing it to the metallic jaali is stupid, on part of the malang, because the jaali and the Prophet's grave are two different things. Iam not saying weather its okay or not to kiss the jaali, but the comparison itself is stupid. The jaali is a seperate object....the leather case, which contains the quran, becomes a part of the physical state of the quran...just like its hardback cover.
Re: "MAZARAT OF AULIA"
and when a hindu tells u that he bows in front of idols only cuz it reminds him of bhagwaan, the one true god, u think he is stupid and call him a mushrik!!!!

Re: "MAZARAT OF AULIA"
Sharaabi, I hope it's just an example or clarification that you're providing and not supporting the idea of kissing the cover in which Quran is kept.
armughal, good example.

Re: "MAZARAT OF AULIA"
**Shirk has nothing to do with the dead or alive.
**The Aqeeda of the Ahle Sunnah wal Jama'at is that to seek the mediation of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is permissible or allowed by the Shari’ah.
The following verse proves that one can seek a Wasila when approaching Allah Ta’ala. Allah Ta'ala states in the Holy Quran: "O ye who believe! Fear Allah and search for a Wasila (mediation) towards Him and strive in His path on that hope that you will gain refuge." (Part 6, Ruku 10)
The following verse proves that one can seek a Wasila by approaching the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Allah Ta'ala states in the Holy Quran: "And if when they do injustice unto their souls, then O Beloved! They should come to you and then beg forgiveness from Allah, and the Messenger should intercede for them, then surely, they would find Allah most Relenting, Merciful." (Part 5, Ruku 7)
The Ambiya are Wasilas (mediators) for their Ummah in every form and the Wasila of the Ambiya is the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Hence, the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the Wasila of all mediations, even the Wasila for Hadrat Adam (alaihis salaam). (Tafseer Saadi)
Imam Bukhari(RA) in his Kitaabu Adaabul Mufrad has written that Hazrat Adullah ibn Omar(RA) once suffered from cramp. Someone advised him to rememberthe person whom he loved most. The great Companion then proclaimed loudly: "Ya Muhammad", it is recorded that he was immediately relieved of the cramps.
Imam-e-Mujtahid Sayyidi Abdur Rahman Masoodi(RA) was the grandson of Hazrat Abdullah ibn Masood(RA). He was also a very great Jurist and a Taabieen of high rank. It is said he used to wear a long hat on which were inscribed the words "Muhammad, Ya Mansoor".Substantiating this, Imam Hasheem bin Jameel Az Zaaki(RA) who was among the great Ulema and Muhaddatheen of the time states: "I saw him (i.e. Hazrat Abdur Rahman Masoodi) place a long hat on his head, onit were inscribed the words "Muhammad, Ya Mansoor".
May Allah give us the courage and strength to establish the truth. May He protect our Iman from the evil scholars of shaitan. Ameen.
Re: "MAZARAT OF AULIA"
Everything depends on how much love a person got for prophets, auliyas & the holy books, & love has no limits it can make person do everything, but staying within boundaries n doing the right thing is what islam has thought us , hence loving something with a correct intention & giving it priority makes no harm , therefore when kissing a mazar or kissing a book with a proper intention (nisbath) doesnt leads a person to commit shirk instead it ennobles a persons conciousness.
