Mayyun - What's needed?

Anyway,
My Mayyun, as you know, will be a small at home event with almost 30-35 women (family & in-laws).What exactly do i need for it?

  • Mirchi lights - I will arrange for them
  • Colourful sheets for flooring - I will arrange
  • Dholki - Done
  • Sticks for dances - Done

What else?
flowers, duppatas, anything more for decore?

  • flowers yess
  • ubtun -_- for aunties to have fun (not decor obv)
  • sweets/lados
  • Maybe cushions or gao pillows if you have a floor sitting
  • maybe have a giveaway like chooriyan for all the girls/aunties and have a basket of those
  • you can totally decorate the chair you will be sitting on with flowers and dupattas

nothing else really comes to my mind honestly! u getting ur mehndi done on ur mayun ? i might if its a night before the mehndi event…

Maybe some chatpata snacks, hifi - music system, & lyrics to songs for singing @ dholki?

get some agarbatti and do some quran reading at the start to bless the occasion and the start of your functions

have a basket of bangles tied up with decorative ribbons for ur friends

v had quran kahni in the morning
thn for mayyoun
4 rasm v had ubtan, sweets n oil
v distrubted bangles n gajray n chunari dupatas to all the ladies
v had paan stall also ladies loved it jis ka dil krta uth k jata paan banwata n kha leta hehehehe

i told my parents to put pineapple chunks instead of mithai,they did so and i loved the rasam of mithai/pineapple khilayeng :cb:
and most of the items hav been mentioned above

We are having a Quran Khawani on a separate day before it. Music, dholki etc are already arranged for. I need more ideas for the decore.
