I rented this art movie from Block buster and i wanted to know if any one else had seen it or had any more feedback/details on the hideous ceremonial rape they showed at the girls coming of age by the brahmin priests in India.
I’ve never heard of this before but the movie prologue said that this was based on actual practices.

Muniya- if u have a block buster near by- rent it. Its a very well produced movie but the ending which is the idea behind it is very disturbing and that is what i wanted to know if there is any truth to it.

well I have lived all my life in indian never heard of anything about this.. did some research and found actuallly what they shoed was not the exact practice they synthesised three four practices of ancient times to come up with this..... it was disgusting good to know it wads fictional and whatever part was factual is thing of past

What the movie depicts proly happened on old days, I doubt if it still happens today like sati.
