**Salaam Everyone, **

Hope you all are doin’ fine. Though I am a new member, but have visited this board earlier (recommended by a friend of mine) and I must admit that you all have got an excellent taste of poetry. Keep it up !

Ok, here is my very first participation. One of my favs. by Ahmed Faraz. Hope you all are gonna enjoy it.

mera hi rang pareeda har ik nazar mein raha
wagarna dard ka mausam to shehr bhar mein raha

kisi ko ghar se nikaltay hi mil gayee manzil
koi hamari tarah umer bhar safar mein raha

bohat se log thay ghul mil ke sab se baatain keen
woh jis ko mein ne na dekha meri nazar mein raha

kuch is tarah se guzaari hai zindagi jese
tamaam umer kisi doosray ke ghar main raha

wida-e-yaar ka manzar Faraz yaad nahin
bas aik doobta suraj meri nazar mein raha !
