KARACHI: MQM deputy parliamentary leader in national assembly Haider Abbas Rizvi has said that his party was in no way related to the decision not permitting Imran’s entry into Karachi, it was purely a government affair.

Tahrik-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan had held MQM responsible for his not getting permission to enter Karachi. Haider Abbas Rizvi on Geo News contacting for his reaction said that it was baffling as to why Imran Khan always holds Altaf Hussain responsible for any wrong happening anywhere in the world. It should better be asked from the government under which mischief fears the government was not permitting his entry into Karachi.

Replying to a question that Imran be invited to visit Karachi by Muttahida as a gesture of goodwill, Haider Abbas Rizvi said that a formal invitation to him was not possible albeit like Taliban coming to Karachi, he could also come.

Personally, i don't think so Imran can gather any crowd, I have seen his Jalsies here and there, to me, the only place he can get any audiences is on Ten-Sports...

having said that, this kind of tactics are non-democratic ( i laguhed when i wrote this word), and should be condemned, If Imran wants to have a Jalsi in Karachi let him have it... I am sure that after announcing the date of this so called JALSA etc, he must be praying that MQM do something stupid like this, otherwise, the event will take place and he'll be laughing stock for next few months...

Have you ever noticed that Imran Khan has never announced any jalsa etc in Lahore or other areas of Pakistan, as he surely knows that the govt in those areas would not mind that and he'll be exposed...

When ever he needs some media attention he, announces a Jalsa in Karachi and the stupid govt. of MQM gives him what he is looking for...

^^ they should allow him, but they are not doing. If PPP can show backbone on not firing the police officers in Karachi then why not on Imran Issue.

Either Cartoon or CM of Sindh can shed some light on it, but personally i feel the days of Imran is numbered, he happened to be a second Asghar Khan. I feel bad on this :(

Firstly, he was going for a fund raiser to Karachi. Secondly, it doesnt matter if he has support or no support in Karachi, he should be allowed to go there freely, just like anyone else. His party clearly had massive supporters in the long march campaign which caused zardari govt to crap in its own pants. Lastly, how would the terrrorist MQM goons in the parliament feel if their entry was banned in Punjab? Heck those criminals wont even be able to land in Islamabad considering its airport is in Rawalpindi.

LAHORE: Tahrik-e-Insaf chief, Imran Khan has decreed, “Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is not a democratic party albeit it is a mafia.”

Following not getting permission to leave for Karachi, talking to media at Lahore Airport, he said that MQM was a one-man show and it was appeasing Americans by resorting to fascist tactics.

He queried under which law he was stopped from leaving for Karachi and then himself answered that it was Altaf Hussain’s law under which he was stopped. When quizzed as to why was he targeting MQM alone, he jiffy changing his earlier version said that he was stopped on the orders of the federal government. He said that Asif Zardi could see terrorism at other places but he visits London to meet Altaf Hussain despite his being involved in 234 cases.

He said Karachi was not a ‘jagir’ of any one and his party would soon formulate a strategy on this matter. He asked under which law Altaf Hussain sitting in London was disturbing peace in Karachi and no action was being taken. He said that MQM was trying to stop him from pursuing the case he filed against Altaf Hussain, but he would not give up.

Agreed. He should not be restrained to visit Karachi and have his jalsa or collection campaign for his cancer hospital. The ban should be removed immediately. He should be exposed what he is being capable of? Pakistan needs new blood in demorcatic process.

Also, those saying how Imran cant carry out a big rally in Karachi should watch this video. These people came out even though Imran wasnt there. And no, he doesnt have to pay Rs. 500 like Musharraf to get people out.

Yes, Id say there were a couple of hundred pple out there today which was a hostile day and IK was not even in Karachi. Im optimistic that there will be a big rally once he actually steps in Karachi.

It really doesn’t matter that if he have any support in any part of Pakistan or not, the real issue is, as per MQM he have no support, then let him come, why they are pissing in their pants??? This is the real question, none of the MQM supporter have able to answer yet.

If the issue is about Nuqs-e-Aman, then the biggest threat to the security and peace of Karachi is MQM itself, MQM should be banned for its activities…

Any how, PPP govt. took right decision at the last moment, showing some back bone…
