Position Summary:
The MAXIMO Designer / Developer will work with the implementation
project team to design a custom application for clearance and tagging to be integrated with the site’s MAXIMO installation. The position requires
extensive knowledge of MAXIMO 5, with specific skills in application
design and configuration, and supporting technologies (such as JAVA and XML). This individual will work directly with project team members across various functions to design and develop the clearance / tagging application.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Strong documentation skills
Experience with IBM Websphere and MAXIMO technical architecture
Strong JAVA and XML application development skills
Detail oriented Innovative approach (e.g. “think outside the box”)
Experience in nuclear generation environment helpful
Location / Environment:
The primary work location is Comanche Peak (Glen Rose, TX). Periodic
travel to other locations (Dallas, software vendor offices, other nuclear
plants) is possible.
Site access requires compliance with all plant safety and security
policies, including initial drug testing, ongoing random drug
testing, full background investigation, safety training, and Fitness For Duty program.
