Guys, please help.
I think i’ve given up on looking for the perfect maxi dress, i’m just finding that the necklines are way to deep and its to hot to wear a vest top underneath and a cropped cardigan over the top. Too many layers for me.
Could you fashionistas recomend the best way of wearing a maxi skirt please, what do you wear on top ie what type of tops?
I dont wear sleeveless stuff but am OK with short sleeves please could you post up some examples, Thanks

If you look in the what are you wearing thread - within the previous 5-6 pages (i think) I posted a pic of myself in a maxi skirt and syraa (the hottie) posted a great outfit of her self.

i don’t like tucking stuff in (even though it looks hot) coz my bum is too obvious

Brit, i wouldnt wear a full sleeved top, under a maxi dress, i think it looks weird and doesnt suit me. With the plunging necklines i tried wearing a vest top under the maxi to cover my bosom, it just looked odd :( so i think the maxi skirt is th eoption.
Stoppit: I'm conscious of my big bum but i'm confused about what tops to buy, i'm going to trawl through the web later and see if i can find some options, i really am sooooo bad at putting stuff togetherthat is out of my comfort zone, i live in jeans practically the whole year but thought i'd be brave and try something different.

You're welcome, brummiebird. Personally, I prefer tucking them in and adding a belt too.
