It might as well be an afghan operation. The “afghan govt” is getting its you know handed to it by taliban / ISIS / khorasan / you make a name group all over the country. This is the after the fact that US is assisting them 'ala south vietnam and ISIS is also competing / killing taliban for areas.

Mulla Sandwich resident was totally private , even neighbours didn’t know that who is living there . No security guard , no chokidar . Only one man with him , who is living with him for more than two decades , perhaps a driver outside home .
Body is seen by everyone , The killer was not professional , even not any powerful man , more than a dozen wounds but he was alive till his people reach back at home , he was also conscious till in ambulance . Post mart-em was was not allowed by his son so many facts will never come-out .
Police ruled out terrorism in this murder
The men who came to meet Mulla are told that they came often there ,
I don’t think anyone is interested in investigation of this murder including family of Mulla Sandwich

Do you know the excuse? They claim that its okay for “scholars” to not go on jihad so as to preserve the ‘Ilm’, though no where in Quran it says that jihad is not fardh on aalim etc.

If real killers ar not caught it will be assumed that he was killed by those who created him to be father of Taliban. Perhaps he was the loose end in creating Taliban of Afghanistan in the midnineties. I still reemember I was in Canada when one professor of management, Jamal Badawi Imam praised Taliban a lot depicting them as true Muslims, at that time Taiban were just taken over and ruling Afghanistan. Perhas ISI did not want him to be a negotiator in negotiating with Afghan Talbian.

I have read that he sent his servants away to meet the unknown visitor(s), was found in his bed and the killers had cut and taken aways his genitals. This is likely going to be a personal affair. His family and followers know this and that is why a mob is not on the roads protesting and destroying property.

It seems to be the result of perverted activities that are endemic in hostels of maderrasas! The dilemma is that these people claim to be flag bearer of morals yet led to so much bloodshed in both Pakistan and Afghanistan.
