Brother I’d recomend you not to disccuss individuals, specifcally in this perticualr section of the forum. Try to talk about the concepts and ruling of Islam. It is a mere suggestion. I hope you understand the pros and cons.

Brother, reffer to Quran and sunnah. Does it give anyone a right to be a traditional alim or of being a sufi. Plus I’m sure you must have heared about the incident of Umer, when he was giving ‘khutba’ he was criticised (infact accused) by an another person for taking more than one peice of cloth from the ‘bait ul maal’ Umer responded to it. What is wrong with that?

Brother I’ve no idea about the interference of Mr. Maududi in the ‘hudood law’ neither do I know why is he being accused of ‘extremism’ but I can tell you one thing from my experiance. You follow what actually the Quran and Sunnah say in your everyday life and you’d labled as extremism. You see this term is the inventioned of western people and westernised people.

Again it is a matter of perception. You go and kill and innocent American you are a terrorist and an American goes an kill an innocent Iraqi his is not. What esle you want to know on the subject?

Brother, I understood in the first instance where you got this from. I just provided a generic manner in which you should approach religious issues. It’ll make things simpler for you. That is all I intended to do. Agian this is a personal suggestion, you dont have to agree or to acutally do as I have suggested.: )
