I guess he is a real famous maulana in the subcontinent. Recently I came across an urdu book of his on women. He is also the author of the famous “Behashti Zavor”. I havent read the latter but the one i saw recently seemed a pretty good write. What I am interested in knowing is who is he and anything i can know about him?

Is there a difference between Maulana Ashraf ul Thanwi, and Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi? Or are these the name of the same person?
