is maturity something developed through life , our jobs, the people we meet etc

how does one become mature and why are some people more mature than others?
Nurture and nature both have an impact on an individual. The ones who have to take on responsibilities early on tend to be more mature but some never seem to grow up even though they have been through the motions of life so nurture can only take you so far.
Depends on how you define maturity.
its complicated, its a personality trait as well as ups and downs helps you evolve and you become mature, but not everyone is so lucky to be mature.. you need to be intelligent to become a mature personality, so it also depends on luck.. maturity depends on different circumstances too..
