what sort of twisted question is this? my stance unlike maudodi sahib’s is that Islam (the deen) has spread through the revolution that prophet muhammad(pbuh) had brought about within his followers and extraordinary positive impact they imparted on others. the impact that was not the result of the fear of the sword but the impact that lasted long. I was not saying anything against the wars muslims had to fight in the early days of Islam.
