matrix philosophy

Even though it’s an old movie still there so much more behind the movie itself as;

Morpheus: Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real?

Morpheus: What if you were unable to wake up from that dream, Neo? How would you know the difference between the dreamworld and the real world?

Re: matrix philosophy

Morpheus: What is real. How do you define real? If you're talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can taste and see, then real is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain. This is the world that you know. The world as it was at the end of the twentieth century. It exists now only as part of a neural-interactive simulation that we call the Matrix. You've been living in a dream world, Neo. This is the world as it exists today.... Welcome to the Desert of the Real.

Re: matrix philosophy

i liked that movie....i am not able to understand what you want to discuss...

anyway, i felt that, that movie is all about differentiating illusion and reality. I also feel that we have to the same thing in our lives. I feel that reality is not the electrical signals which our brain interpret. In short, we are also in illusion that arises because of our senses and Reality is somewhere else.

Re: matrix philosophy

that stuff makes you think...lol...r we in the matrix

Re: matrix philosophy

LOL nahin bhai. i believe we are not in matrix. but just like any other believe hard to prove isn't it?

Re: matrix philosophy

Nope its very easy to prove it. WE ARE in a virtual world!

Re: matrix philosophy

They even gave the answer to that in Part 1

Re: matrix philosophy

i also believe there was alot more in the movie

Re: matrix philosophy

yes, we are the lucky ones to live in a "real" world, but if we keep on living like sheeps stupidly following the flow of technological "progress" without moral judgements and will, things like matrix could be the "real" world for our children
