Matha patti

Re: Matha patti

I'm in the same situation although I haven't started my shaadi shopping yet. Just brainstorming right now. Anyways, any chance you can get one from Pakistan? It's gonna be really hard to find one here...a nice one anyways. And i totally agree with you taht it's not worth spending so much on somehting u wear for one day! I'm planning on artificial, too.

The other alternative to a real matha patti which is a bit pricier but looks gorgeous (and real) is to get one made from silver or maybe some other material and then cover it with a layer of gold 'water' (sonay ka pani). They make them matching perfectly with ur jewelery set, with whatever stones u specify so it looks like its part of ur set. Of course this is all assuming you can either go to Pakistan or have someone there make it for u. Probably can't do that here in the US.

Have u gotten ur bridal outfit? What are you going to do about the neck?

Re: Matha patti

my cousin is going to get one made in silver and then have it goldplated.
