Matha patti and nath

I really want to wear both matha patti and a nath for my wedding day, but I’m not sure how they look togther. I’ve found a couple of pictures but I feel maybe it makes the face look overcrowded?

Re: Matha patti and nath

well ywah
very true
bride look really over loaded by wearing both things

Re: Matha patti and nath

it depends I have seen brides wearing both n it looks gorgeous, it depends on your face too if you have got broad face go for it

Re: Matha patti and nath

I think both look okay as long as the nath is thin and with a simple chain

Re: Matha patti and nath

I've seen one bride pull this off-her matha pati was really thin (the chain, not the actual teeka part) as well as her nath.

Re: Matha patti and nath

i agree i think it depends on the bride but its not impossible. can look pretty. i think if they compliment each other and maybe if the matha patti is not bulky.

Re: Matha patti and nath

I did it ans it went well! :)

Re: Matha patti and nath

and what if some has oval shaped face and want to wear both?

Re: Matha patti and nath

go for both of them..i regret not wearing nath on my wedding..i just wore maatha patti..and in pictures it looks as if something is lacking..

Re: Matha patti and nath

i wore matha patti and nath.. the strands on my matha patii were simple and so was the nath. it looked fine!!

Re: Matha patti and nath

Personally I dislike maata pathi.:bummer: I would just go for a naath and jhumar with tikka.

Re: Matha patti and nath

I’ve always felt that if a bride doesn’t wear a nath; she looks like something is missing as well. My face is quite a broad round shape with chubby cheeks. I went jewelery shopping and bought a set with both things included, but the nath isn’t simple, it has a lot of beads hanging of it. I don’t think a simple one would match the rest of the set. Has anyone seen a bride look good with a simple matha patti and a heavy nath?

Re: Matha patti and nath

Rocksta rani just wear them and see if they look good on your face or not :)
if you're still not sure take them to the parlor with you and after your make up is done try it on and see if you like the look, if not you can skip the nath, simple. :)

Matha patti and nath

I wore both but my matha patti was different and i kept my nath big and simple! Have a play about and see what suits your face shape

Re: Matha patti and nath

It looks nice to wear both matha patti and nath. All this depends on the face of the bride. So you just try this out how its looks on your face but in opinion it will definitely look nice..
