Maternity clothes in Pakistan?

I was just wondering if women tend to just wear shalwar kameez during pregnancy as belly expands? It seems like it would be a reasonable thing to do since it’s either naraa or elastic waist. But are there any special maternity type wear for women there?

I think that's not a problem in Pakistan. I mean there's so many tailors out there so women get a couple of new clothes which are a bit khulay. So, it's easier. I don't think they have any special stores for that.

Women in Pakistan normally wear s/k but as the belly expands, there are those kameezs that are loose at the belly part, one part comes till the chest and then there is a loose flow of cloth, btw I really like this one on pregnant women.

So what are you wearing or will wear when you dont fit in your normal cloths, will you buy a new wardrobe or sew new cloths?

Well this is baby#2 and at 3.5 months I needed to wear elastic waist. Now i'm close to 6 months and i'm in full fledged maternity wear. I have the paneled pants and also wear stretchy yoga pants. I wore s/k with last pregnancy at 8 months and it was in an 'umbrella' style with elastic waist. Here in NYC, maternity wear is such a big industry. There are so many options and price ranges for women. I just wondered if it's the same in Pakistan.
