How do you define materialism and do you consider yourself modest as opposed to a materialist ?
What is wrong with being materialist ? Who does not want to lead a good life ?
Who does not want to own some nice things in life ?

To me a materialist is a person who is obsessed with owning things rather than enjoying the mere presence of them.
I do not see any harm is striving to lead a good life and enjoy good stuff. But trying to collect stuff by hook or by crook and also just keep on collecting it rather than enjoying it is a disease.

I got 16, but the description was the same as yours, mirch.
I do appreciate having nice things, but i dont place so much importance on them above other things like being happy at home and family. I also dont like to show off and would rather do things to keep myself happy than to think how others would b jealous of such and such.
