material for shirt - Valima outfit

Hi! I am confused which material to go for for the shirt of my valima outfit…options are:

-Kunduan Zarri
-Shiffon

  • Crepe Shiffon
    -Self print Jamevar

the shirt is supposed to be a long, front open one with more work done on it than the lehanga. Wt confuses me is which type of cloth is more durable yet shall look pretty for the 2nd day with a more contemporary look…Kundan zarri looks pretty and drapes very well but its not that great a material since it can get easily chee-jofyed..it would be very depressing for me to see something like dat happen to either of my weddin dresses! Lehanga i’m thinking should be jamevar with a nice fall…

Just to give some more idea…the colour is going to be ivory gold types.

looking for suggestions!

sounds gorgeous! depending on how heavy the kaam will be, maybe silk chiffon with lining?
use pure silk jamavar for the lehenga bottom. its gorgeous and drapes beautifully.

Re: material for shirt - Valima outfit

thanks sgc! ill check the material out...is this material something like crepe chiffon?

kaam would be on the borders of front open, daman of the shirt with spray or jaal all over the front only, borders on the dupatta and similar border on lehenga's edges with spray. i plan to make pants with the shirt to b worn later and a separate light suit for the dupatta to b worn with. will add colour to the ivory gold by havin an inner lining of some other colour...
