cattie, u say it with such certainty .. so if zidane was on teh firld for the next 10 mins, france would have scored 30 goals? heck, if the team depended on him that much tha they did not deserve to win, the way the match was being played.. France would not have won, the team simply was unable to come together…less than 60 days later the team did gel, and look at what they did to the italians now.
he did not cost france the world cup, thats an assumption, and one that can not be confirmed, however what can be confirmed is that without him France would not have been in the finals…period.

trezeguet was having a poor world cup missing open goals.i dont think the coach would've given him a chance if zidane was not sent off.and 10 mins on the football field with zidane is a lot of time for any team to score.zidane could've cursed back at him,but to do that was stupid...eventhough i accept that most italians are a-holes and matterazzi is no different.
