I thought Basit was lost due to the whole match fixing gang aka Malik, Ijaz, Wasim and others. I did see Basit's last inning as a Pak player. He was fighting a lone battle against India for a losing cause. Malik played a gem if I remember correctly. Joshi pulled off a stunning catch to oust Malik. Interesting times those...

Anyways, thanks very much guys. I'll definitely be looking for these series now.

FG, I don't know how I'm gonna land them. BBC is supposed to have some sort of a collection, maybe I'l ask them. There are some Indian/Pakistani stores which might have them too. Plus some online stores sell some cricket videos too. I'm sure I've seen ads for the 93 Pak-WI series on one of the sites.

If you live in Karachi, then you can find almost every match even non Pakistani matches in Rainbow Center in Sadar. Thats where I got most of the matches from.

haha. Saby bhai thank you so very much for your generous offer. You're too nice. Unfortunately, I haven't been to Pak for 5 years now and won't be visiting for 2 more years and if things go to plan not for at least a further 4 years. So, let me know if you'll still be in Pak 6 years from now. (Don't mind, I'm only messing with ya.)

BTW, you're most welcome at my place if you ever visit Canada. BTW, were't you looking to apply to grad school and stuff? If yes, where Canada or US?

I live in USA currently but I still have tapes of all the matches before 95 in Karachi but after 95 I have tapes here.

well yeah i do have plans for university of toronto. My bro is is missisauga, toronto. And also some unis in US, lets see how thigns unfold :)
