these are all excuses or void conspiracy theories... I want this fiasco to be untrue from the bottom of my heart, but the fact remains that none of the players has come out to unequivocally claim their innocence. If they were indeed innocent, then they’d have the fortitude to deny all allegations and just say that they’re certain that no charges can/will be proven.

The article is not saying they were innocent. It is just saying that these players were specifically targeted. Accepting money remains to be true and those involved should be punished even if it is an indian/zionist/cia/raw/fbi conspiracy.

This article is nothing but an attempt to once again let the culprits go unpunished. What benefit is it to the Indian bookmakers achieve by "destroying the careers of Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir"? Surely, it'll be to their advantage to keep the two bowlers in the game as long as possible, so they can keep earning their billions through them.
Also, the no-balls were arranged just to prove that the players are under the bookies' control. The real money is to be made when the players are asked to under-perform when the odds are heavily stacked the other way. And also, the fancy bets are made on such events as number of maiden overs, number of runs scored in a given time, runs conceded by a bolwer, runs scored by a batsman, etc., etc.
