well the only thing i did'nt know about all this is that even the bangalore world cup quarter final against india might have been fixed or that akram took money not to play in that match.I just heard Aaqib javed saying on geo that there was definitely some 'garbar' in that match.

I have read all these accounts back when they were first published. I think Salim Malik is a shameful character and he has been rightly banned for life. He should also be stripped off all the records.
There are many names thrown in there but notice that Salim Malik is mentioned in every one of those. From managers, teammates, bookies and even the opponents.

well its not fair to just blame salim malik.i think a lot of other guys were involved too,like imran khan said its takes atleast 5 or 6 players to fix a match.so salim malik did'nt do all this by himself.he had support.i think inzamam,saqlain,waqar,moin khan,saeed anwar were involved too at one time or another.

well i thought akram was only fixing matches which were not important to pakistan team like the bengladesh match and a few here and there .very surprised to learn that he also might taken money to declare himself unfit for the bengalore quarter final match.
