So the British Media is alleging that the SERIES between WI and Pak was FIXED!!! With what proof? Don’t know…!
"The PCB has expressed concern over allegations of fixing raised in the media with regard to the recently concluded West Indies-Pakistan ODI series. The Pakistan board said in a statement on Sunday that it is in touch with the ICC about the matter as it falls under the Anti-Corruption and Security Unit’s purview.
The Mail on Sunday, which raised the allegations, reported that the series was set to be investigated over claims of wrongdoing. Pakistan had won the five-match series in the Caribbean, which concluded on July 24, by a 3-1 margin. The third game of the series was a tie.
“The PCB is obviously extremely concerned at the recent allegations of fixing reported in the media with regard to recently concluded ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies,” the statement said. “The PCB maintains zero tolerance towards corruption in the game but investigations in this matter falls within the purview of the ICC’s Anti-Corruption and Security Unit. The PCB is in contact with the ICC on this issue and understands that the ICC will be issuing a media release soon.
“The PCB, at the moment, is examining all legal aspects but for the time being will not be making any further comments”.
The Twenty20-leg of the tour is currently underway. Pakistan won the first of two T20s on Saturday, and the second and final game will be played later on Sunday in St Vincent.”
They are talking about the last over bowled by Wahab, what a load of rubbish. Have they forgotten that less than two weeks ago a number 11 scored 98 runs against England. Wonder how much the English bowlers made out of it? They never see anything wrong with their own but are quick to point fingers against others.
If the accusations are proved to be false then this time PCB should sue the pants off of these guys. As soon as Pakistan starts performing their pants are on fire and start bringing fixing allegations against the team to destroy whatever cricket is left in Pakistan.
But I wouldn’t blame any other party, other than PCB, they should answer with an Iron Fist. If they did take professional actions in the past, then Aamir would probably still be playing for us right now. But the big butt of Ijaz Butt was in the way.

PCB huh...instead of taking a strong stand they said "they are deeply concerned"... other option was to completely ignore such baseless report...
on the other hand lets not forget that PCB took a very strong stand in favor of salman but and company only to get embarrassed in the end.....so PCB is doodh ka jala! they want to play safe this time i guess even though it seems like a rubbish report..

lets see how WICB reacts..so far it has been quiet. my personal feeling is there is nothing in there...so may be WICB reaction is ok..just ignore.
i would also like to point out that few months ago few Pakistani newspaper reported that at least 5/6 young pakistani players hang out with salman butt all the time....that is no good..butt is a cancer for the team....
