This is not another England Australia game, actually an ordinary game between these two rivals makes a great contest but there is larger issue at stake. If Aussies are knocked out of this tournament this early, it will be a big news because they are playing their full-strenght team. Brett Lee, Mc Grath, Pointing, Hussey and Adam Gilchrist, where as England needs some momentum and confidence going into Ashes. They might have defeated Pakistan in Test series but if we look with a close eye, their victory does not translate into a long-term confidence.
So in short, very important game for both of the teams.
Anyway it will be very difficult for Australia to comeback if they lose. So yes I will be rooting for England. It will be nice to see Pakistan featuring in semi finals but not australia
I think the wicket, nahi wait the pasted glue in the centre of the stadium will make the difference; who will win and who will loose! I think Kangroo's will bounce back.
I am supporting Australia because if England win they will show off again and say they will regain the ashes. When England win they think they are the best in the world it goes all around the news in UK
