**Sri Lanka face pivotal Kiwi test **
Qualifiers Sri Lanka must return to winning ways in Group B against New Zealand on Friday to have any hope of remaining in the Champions Trophy.
They saw a 10-match unbeaten run come to an end against Pakistan on Tuesday and skipper Mahela Jayawardene said: "We gave everything we had.
“But it’s not over for us. There are a few games left so we’ll see.”
New Zealand should retain the team that beat South Africa, with Shane Bond, Scott Styris and Mark Gillespie out.
The wicket in Mumbai was heavily criticised by both sides after the New Zealand-South Africa match, and an adhesive will be sprayed on to the surface in attempt to avoid it breaking up.
Re: Match 5: Newzealand vs Srilanka @ Mumbai- Friday Oct. 20th
Both are very competitive teams. It will be hard to root for either. Nevertheless, I am likely to lean towards the underdogs side, but either way, whoever plays the best cricket shall be deservant of such opportunity.
Short rivalries to look for -
Lou Vincent vs. Tharanga/Jayasuriya
Vaas vs. Mills
Muralitharan vs. Vettori
