Masters or double bachelors

i was hoping someone can help me . well i’ll be transfering to uni next semester>>>

one of the uni i’m interested in, offers program where you can get a double bachelors in Electrical and computer eng. , and you end spending 2 more semesters or so

while on the other hand, i can get masters in CE and will have to spend two more semesters after graduation.

so which program would be better, both professionally and economically??

masters.

the curriculum is more intense, and the financial payout is better when you do go for employment. Although u have to balance it so you are not over-educared and under-experienced for some positions. and overqualified for others.

Masterz, better 4 ur Carrer in IT:k:

tai9mur, why not go for both??? Although, if you MUST make a choice between the two, I’d recommend going for the Master’s for the same reasons suggested by Fraudz. Good Luck!!! :k:

thanx a lot ppl.

i most probably will go for masters. talked to some other guys and got the same advice.

why not go for both??

well moona, the programs I mentioned above are offered by two different uni's.

Oh I see. :)

What is the procedure for transfering from 1 uni to another, I wish to do that-after my first year is up-is it possible?

Thanks,

Mo

Requiements varies from uni to uni. but the basic procedure is the same.

like send in your application, transcripts from present and past colleges and test scores ect.

Almost all of the uni have the info on their websites . under transfer students.

while completing fresfman yr, one have to be careful in picking out courses. make sure the uni you planning on tansferring accept them. otherwise you'll end up taking the same courses again.
it gets worse when transferring from one state to another or public to a private university.

umm yeah i would suggest the same, do Masters…
Coz employers prefer more qualified personnels in a particiula feield..
BEst of luck though :k:

If u like to study that much, why not go for a PhD?

one or two?

I'd say one PhD should be more than enough for starters. Some people do do two PhDs, and some do even three.. but I think they're seriously off their conkers by then.

Seriously tho.. why not go for a dual masters - do a joint degree - or a PhD.

oh but wait - kid, have u even finished yr bachelors? If not, why am I doling out ten-year plans?

You can never have enough degrees to collect. Then you can trade them with others or post them on e-bay or by the time you’re 50 you can get ane entry level job using your triple PHD in management, finance and psychology to reorganize the mailroom. :k:

LOL! Yeaaah.. u go CH!
