Masters in Pakistan...

InshaALLAH I will graduate as an Elect Engr from Purdue and hope to move to pakistan as soon as i pay off my student loans. I suspect it will take me about a year or so to do that. I really want to do masters, and really cannot gather enuf courage to do it in the US. I was thinking about malaysia but my parents are getting old. I want to be with them and work in pakistan and hopefully do masters there.

I have been wanting to work for Alvarion for ever but am hoping to find a similar job in Pk. Not really for cellular phones but internet and etc (See alvarion’s webpage) My dream job would be designing and installing/upgrading new wireless networks in Pk. I have no idea what companies are doing this in Pk… anybody knowledgeable in this fields please post comments/suggestion/companies?..

I dont know if techlogix does projects in such areas but they may be interested. Find the right person in the company and contact them after you have checked out their web site ( if you need PM me directly).

Also get in touch with sounusnetworks. They do VoIP work and I believe they have an office in Pakistan. As for getting a masters you could do one in Sydney, Stanford offeres one over long distance with only a 6 months requirement and then there are quite a few other good universities in the region.
