Re: masters in english language or literature?

@partyslims

So you already graduated in English?

yes why so shocked?

@Eastern_Dresses

What are you planning to do after your masters? If you are in Pakistan and want to pursue lecturer-ship then English literature is a better option. If you want to work in corporate sector, then English Language. Though you can teach if you have a masters in english language but the options will be quite limited.

i am planning to give CSS exams after masters inshaAllah

and thanks

@eastern11

Go for English language especially if you want to teach whether it’s at schools or colleges. I guess you are in Pakistan.

@Jolie

English Literature.

It’s a more recognised degree and lot more intensive. Plus the knowledge and pleasure you gain from it, is priceless.

But be aware, you have are expected to do some serious extensive readings on daily basis.
