I wanted to know if anyone here shares my absolute passion for masterpiece theatre. I loved watching Downton Abbey, Lark rise to candleford, Great expectations, Sherlock etc. I could go on and on.

Aaliyah, it's the title of a series of shows on Public Television here. The programming can be anything from mini series to on going shows (like Downton Abbey/ Sherlock). The Masterpiece Theatre is for the shows that are more under the drama category and Masterpiece Mystery for the ones like Sherlock and other murder/mystery shows from British TV.
