the contestants inability to understand and speak english made me wanna cry… especially when one contestant is asked “why did jack and jill go up the hill?” and the guy was totally dumbfounded as if asked a question on rocket science or something!!
the host had to keep on translating simple english sentences into urdu cuz the contestants just did not understand what was being asked…
all of them were dressed really well, not at all fobby.. spiked hair, cool clothing and all… aur jub baari ayi english jhaarnay ki, they couldnt get a word out…
makes me wish they would pay less attention in trying to copy the west appearance wise, and pay more attention in english classes
p.s) im not talking about the accent, indians butcher the lingo, but atleast they are 100% capable of speaking it and understanding it.

reminds me there used to be this other show on ARY.. to do with cricket.. and this time, contestants tho door ki baath, even the questions shown on screen used bad grammar, and horrible sentence structure.. do they not proof read or is a metric pass who studied english in urdu incharge of writing out the questions?!
I thought they were pretty good. In the end the host asked this one girl to sing..that was the most embarrasing part!! i thought that omer guy had a nice personality.
I haven't watched that many episodes, but not all of them are like that. Some of them do ask to have the question repeated, but others spoke impressingly well.
the show's a disgrace to trivia shows worldwide - the dreary and dull host is a let-down. I've seen him misread questions and translate them wrongly as well.
I used to like the other host....he was much nicer to look at
i wanna smack some of these kids....like wth.... they cant answer simple chemistry/bio questions....yet ask em all about manhoose indian movies....that they'll ACE for sure
