I know of a couple of people that believe in order to avoid being stepped on they must be the first to step on others.
Though initially it may work, long term results appear to be damaging.

it’s sad though..what time can do to a person…you can’t always be the ruler…it does come around! and i hate it when i end up feeling sorry for some sorry a$$ who wasn’t sorry when s/he did what s/he did but is now miserable.

Whether you stick around for the results or not it won't matter. baleya is right, what goes around comes around so.....although person A may have stepped on person B, person B may not necessarily be the one to bring person A his/her dues. It'll come from some other source, trust me on that one.

Ha, NYAhmadi! Actually, I agree that it's a bad idea to take revenge. It creates a cyclical effect and more negative feelings and doesn't really help anyone.
Although recently I sent someone who had stomped all over my toes a quote from the Dalai Lama. I did it anonymously. Was that revenge? Kind of, I guess. Hmm.
