i have light coffee color with creamy skin mix in my bed room and this color scheme looks really good and it also went good with furniture

Tabby the combo you mentioned is what i have in mind too .. light coffee color or light brownish shade with beige mix

husband is dead against using wall papers … so I will have to create the magic with paint … ..

CB, Olive/light olive will also look good with black but you have to mix it with a neutral color I guess otherwise it might be a bit too much.

Also a lil bit of difference in each room is good but personally I wouldn't want anything drastically different.

Masi , thats the plan actually …come to the other thread interior design one , I think i will address one room at a time … I am seeking advise regards the living room first and then will move on to the rooms … I am researching the olive color tones meanwhile :hugz:

Pottery Barn has a color scheme with Benjimin Moore - they are earthy tones and very nice!
