not really. U could paint one wall with a bold colour and add an over sized mirror along with wooden flooring which will give the illusion of a bigger more spacious room.
I think home sellers mainly stick to boring colours like beiges and browns so they can attract more buyers. So unless ur in lov with those colours, I would do a lil research ask ur fiance what colours he likes and dislikes and put ur own mark on the room and make it into ur special sweet haven
