I’ve always been into naval-type novels, so this was a real treat for me. The ending kind of left me like … “darnit!”

Beautiful, vivid scenes on the ocean on big beautiful sailing war ships are just magic and thrilling to witness. But I thought the script took a detour that was not necessary, making the end of the film sloppy and rushed.
The first half of the film is great, but I found myself laughing at Monty Python favorites during the second half. The acting was very good. There are a few surprises. All and all the positives exceed the negatives. Russell Crowe is never a disappointment!
Go and see this film on the big screen. It's worth it!

i sooo wanna watch that moviee...espcially cuz of Russel Crowe....I know he must have acted great in this movie as well......only wish I had more time..
