At least five people dead. Inna lillah e wa inna elaihi rajioon. It seems to be a humanitarian disaster, Pakistanis from other provinces should help their brethren as much as they can. Civilians should help the military to normalize the situation as soon as possible. Its time to prove to the Baloch that we care for them.

It was very severe even here in Dubai. Lots of people were out of their apartments and offices.

It was a massive earth quake , India to Iran , Gulf to Afghanistan .
I am afraid for more losses from remote areas .
It lasted for a minute. Shock was severe here in karachi.

It was 7.9 on richter scale.... and u know what ?? At 6.2 buildings start to shake down on surface...
the good thing is it was 76 kilometers down in the earth... or the result would be fatal & destructive...
I have never heard of an earthquake at this high scale in my entire life...

but... there are chances of re-occuring of earthquake at same spot until the craters settle down at their place :(

It was not that severe as in Karachi.. ummm u can just near abt 4-5 on richter scale :@:
You know Experts are advising Balochisss to stay away from buildings for some days until i happens again...
Well.. it is True , that when craters move (earth shakes/quakes) , the reason behind that is , it tries to settle its place among other craters, this can last for more than 1 time...

but the difference was in depth... Sichuan Earthquake's spot was only 19 kilometer in depth...
