by allah, thailand will find out that blood of muslims is not cheap and there is definately a price to be paid for the shedding of blood.
The recompense of those who wage war against Allâh and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter. (Al-Ma’idah 5:33)
and to our thai brothers and sisters, it is a good time to be reminded of how allah tries his people and sends tribulations on them to test them just like he tested the people of israel through firoun (pharoah)
And (remember) when We rescued you from Fir’aun’s (Pharaoh) people, who were afflicting you with the worst torment, killing your sons and letting your women live. And in that was a great trial from your Lord. (Al-A’raf 7:141)
so have patience and ask allah to remove from you this trial and make us all enter jannah through his mercy.
And (remember) when We delivered you from Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) people, who were afflicting you with a horrible torment, killing your sons and sparing your women, and therein was a mighty trial from your Lord. (Al-Baqarah 2:49)

Wake up o sleeping Muslims, tomorrow it could be us! after them.
Thai soldiers apprehend hundreds of men after demonstrators clashed with police in Thailand's Narathiwat Province, in this picture taken October 25, 2004. Thailand's government faced withering criticism on October 26 after almost 80 Muslims suffocated to death while in army custody, with one newspaper blaming the tragedy on the prime minister's flawed leadership. Only six people were previously believed to have been killed when troops and police opened fire to quell a riot outside a police station on Monday in Narathiwat province. Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala warns us in the noble Qur’an,

“The Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (establish Daulah Islamiyyah - the Khilafah), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief.” [TMQ Al Anfal:73]
The Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam also said: "The example of the Believer in their mutual love and mercy is like the example of a body, if one part of the body feels pain, then all the body suffers in sleeplessness and fever.
around 6 million.....which is relatively large but the muslims are sleeping collectively so even so large numbers could not help them, i mean a billion strong ummah and we are being killed as if our blood is cheaper than that of mosquitos.
Truly Allâh has given you victory on many battle fields, and on the Day of hunain (battle) when you rejoiced at your great number but it availed you naught and the earth, vast as it is, was straitened for you, then you turned back in flight. (At-Tawbah 9:25)
To give a little bit of background, the Muslim part of Thailand was formerly the Sultanate of Pattani, the first nation in South-East Asia to adopt Islam as national religion many centuries ago.
During the 1800s, its army was defeated and its territory occupied by Thailand (known at the time as the Kingdom of Siam). In the early 1900s, Thailand formally annexed the Sultanate.
Just as force of arms was how Thailand took control of the province, they should expect force of arms to be how the people fight back.

jazakallah for tellnig us the brief history, i didnt know that.
i have seen the video in which the police was kicking and beating protesters who were forced to take off their shirts and crawl on the streets. the beating was brutal....and they claim that the deaths were from fasting...
I'm surprised (actually not really) that the global media has not made this into a bigger story. I only found out about this from this forum. Just goes to show you how important it is for Muslims to have a global media outlet that portrays their views at a global level.
If these were Christians or Jews the whole world would have known about it and threats of sanctions would be lobbing towards Thailand. Muslims, time to wake up. We have still many more nations that need independence from boundaries created from colonial times.
