I remember hearing something on the same lines. Why do people project their violence against these fast food places, Don't they know that though they may bear names of American companies, these joints are owned and operated by their fellow country men and the people working there is an average Joe trying to earn a living. Sometimes on the similar lines that disturbed me immensely: On ARY they reported that in ButGram (sp?) and Manshara the general public started looting and setting fire to the offices of all the foreign aid workers who were helping with earthquake relief work. I ask you, what is a logic in this behavior?You are essentially maiming the hands who are lifting you up from the rubble. I know literacy rate in our country is low but this is beyond being Jahil, this is utter barbarism and mind bogging stupidity.
yep its beyond jahalat. i remember that when the disrespectful cartoon came about the wild jaloos on mall road in lahore burnt mac donalds and others shops around it. attempted lootinga bank, a boy died when guards opened fire and the parents of the boy claimed he was a shaheed. its stupid, senseless and useless. but people just dont understand. i myself grew tried of telling them that you are burning tyres, breaking cars of people that have nothing to do with the production of cartoons lakin niqar khanay main tooti ki kaun sunta hai. makes me wonder.
