**Spangler Scinece teacher Mr. Adam Throm, Principal Spangler School Norma jean McClellan and Mueed **
Today was the happiest day of my life when Mueed got three awards. :shoaby:
- Peacebuilder Award.
- Science fair medal from City of Milpitas
- Herb Quon Spirit Science Award,
Receiving congrats from every one made me proud of my son.
As Mrs. Norma Jean McClellan announced on June 3rd 2010 (At the day of Herb Quon Garden Dedication) Spangler will give “Herb Quon Spirit Science Award” in the recognition of valuable contribution in leadership, Spirit of Discovery, and the love of Science. School Office will have a Plaque with Mr. Quon’s picture on it and the name of the students will get this award. And Mueed is the first lucky student earn this award. That was a total surprise for me too I was recording to see who is the brilliant and lucky student is going to get this award and was thrilled to listen Mueed is the first Student of this list. (Every year one sixth grader will have this award with the recommendation of Science teacher and all other6th grade teachers.
Mueed did a wonderful job this year during outdoor Science Camp he showed his leadership abilities and all the teachers were telling me he participated in all activities there and enjoyed his stay there.
Mueed! He loves science and his former science teacher Herb Quon as well. Once he was saying to me I just have one regret in life that when Mr. Quon was sick I did not sent him a Get Well Soon card my other class mates did:( And I told him I as well I did not think about it to get his address from school and even in email to sent him well wishes.
