ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARATHU guys,
i received an email some monnnnnnnths back but i think it was in an old email address that i dont have the password too..its one of those email tht inshaALLAH get forwarded to everyone so im hoping some one on gs has read it , okay heres the story ( i just want the actual wording ) il paraphrase what happened
(i think it said its a true story)
..so in pakistan…(im sorry im so forgetting the details) i think a disaster or some storm happended..and tehre was this girl who culdn get home and needed to stay in the nearst safest shelter…and she found a Masjid nearby so seh went there and asked the only person tehre ..i believe a janitors son..or this boy who was takin gcare of the Masjid and if she could stay..and he said no becuase shes non mahram..so tehn teh girl pleaded saying she had no where else to stay and it was danegrous out..so he finally relented and said okay …so she staye din the Masjid..and tehy didnt sya anythin g2 eachoterh..the girl sat quietly and teh boy read a book near the candlelight..but she noticed every few minutes or so..the girl notcied the boy placing his palm as close o the candles firelight as possible..without actually touching it…that happened throughout the night (until he left to go and sleep elsewhere in the masjid..so the next day..the storm or whatever trouble was over..and it was less dangerous so the girl told the young man she was ready to leave and thanked him for allowing her to stay so he said your welcome but be fore she left .she asked him why he kept placing his palm near the candlelight while making ure not t otouch teh fire..and he replied that he did it every time he had a temptation( meaning he was so fearful of ALLAH SUBHANAWATHAALLAH that he might sin) so every time he kept his palm close it reminded him o f how hot jahhanum was and the heat of the fire of the candlelight is nothing compared to the heat and fires of jahhanum which he ferard he would be sent to if he sinned and did anything haram with the girl…so the girl went home and todl her dad she wanted to marry him that although h e was poor he was soo rich in imaan MashaALLAH and wanted to marry him because she had never met anyone like him..and they got married…
im not sure if it was a true story but..even so would any of you happen to have this email or have come across it by any chance/? i put it in this religion section but id like to try it here as well.. section because its supposed to represent fitna..and how to fight that temptation(fitna) …please let me know and again this story could /could not have been true but teh concept is mashaALLAH beautfiul..please do let me know if any of you come across this email or have come across this email .ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARATHU
