easy suhaina dear.. boil ur potatoes until well done…drain excess water, then add salt and pepper, a knob of butter and I add some cream and a dab of milk…mash together and for a light mash, then whisk the mash with a whisk and then ENJOY

or just use the box ones.. just as good :) you could also add garlic flakes and chives to it and lots and lots of sour cream :)

The reconstituted mashed potato taste like cardboard… nothing can replicate the fresh version 
I like adding roasted garlic to mash - Simply get some garlic cloves (with skin on) drizzle with olive oil and put in oven and bake till soft. Take the skin off and you’ll notice they will be all mushy and like a purée… and they taste very sweet. Just add to the potatoes when you’re mashing, et voilá

Spring onions are nice in mashed potatoes too.
Season well otherwise they taste blah but Poppies recipe is the way to go.

You can get little tubs of philadelphia cheese, add one or two of them, dont put normal raw cheese in it. Mash is simple, comfort food, nowt 'different' about it.

Add some herbs like fresh chives, coarsley ground black pepper, paprika, garlic butter. Top with bread crumbs and bake for 10 mins for a crust.

The best thing to add to mashed potato is lashings of ANCHOR SALTED BUTTER (and some double cream). Sprinkle some freshly ground pepper on top.

Mash should be made from large floury type potatoes, not small waxy new potatoes.

Boil Potatoes. Mash. Add salt, butter and mix.
You can add dry chives and grated cheddar cheese if you want. :)
but im preggers.. this is the best i can manage when im totally starving n not wanting to cook and i tell myself that it’s just as good..

What I do is boil and peel potatoes. Then add salt, pepper, butter, little milk, little garlic powder, little parmesan cheese, chopped cilantro and mash it all togather. Make sure your potatoes are not wet. After peeling, i put them back in the pot and pot on low heat then after couple mins add all the stuff and mash them up.

No, it is corriander, our American cousins just have a different name for it. We say crisps, they say chips.
