Mary K. Letourneau and now this!!

A former Tasmanian teacher will spend a minimum of two years in jail for her “predatory” sex acts with five male students aged in their early teens.

Sarah Jayne Vercoe, 25, appeared in the Tasmanian Supreme Court for sentencing, where Justice Shan Tennent described the woman’s crimes as a massive breach of trust.

The court heard Vercoe had pleaded guilty to 14 charges arising from a two month sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student she had met at a peer support camp.

The boy ended their relationship in January and Vercoe then went on to **abuse **four other boys - aged 14, 15 and two aged 16, in one night in April.

Can we settle this once and for all? i am sick and tired of this liberal PC BS about calling it abuse. For boys, the age of consent should be lowered to 13. Most of these boys would give their left nut to be with any older woman. I think these boys are lucky bast@@@ds and the claim of abuse is ludicrous. I am sure they went home and got high-fives from their buddies and said “yeah i hit it man!!” What do you think boys? I am sure we all had our share of fantasies about certain teachers in high school, didnt we?

Re: Mary K. Letourneau and now this!!

How is it an abuse? I would like to know if any studies were done regarding sexual abuse of boys by semi-good looking female teachers and the negative psychological impacts it had on them, if any.

Re: Mary K. Letourneau and now this!!

high school? dude..she was my 3rd grade teacher.

Re: Mary K. Letourneau and now this!!

The uproar is because these boys are still considered "children" and they are with an adult who is supposed to be responsible cause they are older and not 'take advantage' of people who under their guidance. However, the way things are going these days, I wouldn't be surprised if these "children" were having sex with other kids their age, which is usually the case. In any case, it is still wrong ... and believe me, there would be a bigger uproar if it was a male teacher with young, female students.
