marvel comics geeks- report

Re: marvel comics geeks- report

Fraudz,

I pretty much agree with you list. I will say that I quite enjoyed Ian McKellen as Magneto, it's a very tough role to pull off, I think he did a great job.

I actually didn't like Juggernaught, his character was completely changed, wasn't a big fan.

Cyclops I actually really liked, I think he did a good job.

Storm I'd put in the horrible section along with Rogue, they were waaaaaaaay off with those two.

There's also a character in X3, called Kid Omega, the one who has those spikes that come out of his skin. That just plain didn't make sense, Kid Omega is a COMPLETELY different character, and this character is based on a mutant called Quill, why didn't they just call him that???? You never even hear him called by name!

Callisto was also a bit off, she was too young and her powers were wrong, she's supposed to have superhuman senses, kinda like Daredevil.

Colossus, yup, definitely way off, he wasn't even Russian! Angel, very disappointing, especially because I like the character so much, real shame.

Pyro I think was in the 'so so' area. He was fine, although he wasn't British like he's supposed to be, they captured his nature quite well though.

I also liked Multiple Man in X3. I wish there had been more of him, but then it might have been a "too many cooks in the kitchen" type of situation.

And naturally, the one character that was sorely missed:

GAMBIT!

On Captain America. Meh, he doesn't have the cache he used to have. To be honest they tried to bring him into the 21st century but he's too antiquated to be an appealing character anymore. He's died before, and we know in the Marvel Universe characters rarely stay dead.
