Oh, and Ive seen the show American Idol being copied in South Africa and England, but they were wise enough to modify the theme and change the names completely. Now Canada came up with a 'Canadian Idol', isnt that copying?

Now let's hear those "tons of other shows" you keep talking about.

haha, just turn your television on, name the show... Oh, but then again your programs are so pathetic that you guys have to watch american shows and movies! LOL
No, we don’t. i am referring to Americans who travel abroad, like to Middle Eastern countries. They routinely say they are ‘Canadians’, not Americans. i’ve Canadian friends who proudly display the maple leaf on their luggage when they travel abroad, i can’t say the same about any American who’d feel safe displaying the stars-and-stripes.
Attacking innocent civilians for the actions of their government - that sounds an awful lot like Dubya’s behaviour.
Anyways, i am out of this thread because i know how it’s going to end! To each his own. Even while we disagree with Sheen’s personal beliefs, let that not stop you from commending on his courage (AND right) to voice his personal opinions in a free manner. Freedom of expression - it’s one of the true ideals that the US was founded upon, i think. So he is a more true American than the rest of us.
Just as I thought. There are no “tons” of copied shows Great facts you come up with. What do you expect from a wannabe American who thinks that Beverly Hills was a pioneering show
Americans don;t travel to arab countries. We rule them from here. Why would an American pretend he is a canadian? Why would someone want to be gutless wonder. Oh I don;t know…because some camel herder has a hardon for Americans?
Oh and I like the trick.. “I am out of this thread..because I know how it end” why not stick around and defend the siht you put out.
Freedom of speech is reserved for Americans…all americans not just Martin Sheen. Do learn the concept!!
Fert, remember your understanding of America comes from Moona. Don’t they teach cognitive reasoning skills in Canada? or most of your education revolves around learing the 899 varieties of maple syrup?
Youre talking about me now that youve lost the argument, calling me american etc… but then again, youre from canada LOL the whole world neglects you, i dont blame you… some day you may become 1/100 th as rich and popular as an american.. until then, you have to stick to canadian idol
I suggest you go back and watch Candian Idol… Remember how overjoyed you were after posting that depp article and then came the apology and spanking that you got from Asif_K
An elderly woman lived on a small farm in Canada, just yards away from the North Dakota border. Their land had been the subject of a minor dispute between the United States and Canada for years. The widowed woman lived on the farm with her son and three grandchildren.
One day, her son came into her room holding a letter. “I just got some news, Mom,” he said. “The government has come to an agreement with the people in North Dakota. They’ve decided that our land is really part of the United States. We have the right to approve or disapprove of the agreement. What do you think?”
“What do I think?” his mother said. “Sign it! Call them right now and tell them we accept! I don’t think I can stand another Canadian winter!”
