Mars & Egypt

First it was Viking in 1976 which sent us pics of Cydonia region with a face that resembles Sphinx of Giza

and now Curiosity in 2012 is sending images of a rock that looks like a scaled model of Great Pyramid of Giza.

Coincidence?

Yes

Re: Mars & Egypt

Rock seems too interesting, sitting all by itself with no other rocks around. Its about 10 inches tall.

Re: Mars & Egypt

^just 10inches????

Re: Mars & Egypt

Yes, coincidence.

Re: Mars & Egypt

even if you look at the clouds, they are making shapes of different things, sometimes like a man, sometimes a face, an eye, rabbit, cat, eye and nose, different things..............so ofcourse...........co-incidence :D

Re: Mars & Egypt

^yeaa...I love staring up at the sky and trying to figure out all funny shapes!!!

Re: Mars & Egypt

I do, too :@:

Re: Mars & Egypt

That face was an illusion due to low resolution of the pictures at that time. Better resolution pictures proved that there was nothing special.
Similary this pyramid looking rock might very well be just another illusion. Especially since it is mere 10 inches tall as you said.

Re: Mars & Egypt

10 feet hota tou aap ko kya farq paR jaat?

Rock is not an illusion. The pic is taken from maybe 5 feet away.

Re: Mars & Egypt

nahi…10,000 feet hotha tho phir farq parthi :snooty:

Re: Mars & Egypt

so size does matter.

Re: Mars & Egypt

Re: Mars & Egypt

Re: Mars & Egypt

Not 'used to be'. Egypt is STILL called Misr (not Masr).

Re: Mars & Egypt

The Mars face looks like the great Sphinx of Giza? With ALOOOOOT of fantasy maybe. Personally I think it rather looks like Pierce’s pillow monster.

Whatcha think?
